Rly, 5 hours agoMost pll still think Apple is most expensive, sadly not. If you said “some people” then fine. But considering your country is one of the smaller markets and its the larger markets where Apple is highly expensive, those “most people” are actually right.
Better statement would be like “people think Apple is the most expensive, but it does not apply everywhere”.

Except Xiaomi didn’t get past 100W. It was 80W at best. For what they claimed it to be 120W… And unlike all the Chinese brands, Samsung actually has longevity to consider unlike disposable Chinese phones for which it doesn’t matter if they are useless after 1 year.

It would have been nice if they also did a 15 min test to see if there are any short benefits of higher wattage.

Secondly many brands are not compatible with 3rd party chargers at it’s full speed.

Rly, 5 hours agoMost pll still think Apple is most expensive, sadly not. No, most people know that Apple phones aren’t the most expensive. People aren’t that stupid. They have eyes to see the prices. They know that Apple phones are overpriced, though. Expensive and overpriced are two different things.

I could not decide between the s22 and the s22+, wanted the s22+ because of the faster charging but the s22 sits nicely in the hands. Thanks for solving my dilemma gsmA. No Samsung for me, who knows what else they lied about…
I’m tired of people complaining over GSMArena’s method for testing this.
1) Even if they used Samsung’s old 45W charger, it’s Samsung’s old “45W” charger. If it doesn’t charge at 45W that’s still Samsung’s fault.
2) GSMArena literally also used a 65W charger in their testing. It’s literally right there, can you people not read? The result was literally less than a 5% speed improvement over the 25W charger. Y’know, not the 80% improvement you’d expect to see going from 25W to the marketed maximum of 45W.
And I can’t believe GSMArena changed the title of this article from “Samsung Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra’s 45W charging is a lie” to “Samsung Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra’s 45W charging doesn’t really make a difference” for presumably this reason.

And resale value of Samsung tend… moreSo it’s your bad luck.. in my country, which is by the way the biggest smartphone market, apple 13 pro max is much more expensive, and then if you consider the freebies, there’s no competition. With 4 years of support, samsung is THE best brand to buy. I mean, if you want android, then there is nothing which can match samsung right now.

Extra information… more“Original” may only imply that it is a genuine charger purchased from Samsung instead of a third party one. I admit that GSMArena still needs to clarify the model number of the charging brick they used for the test, though.
