West Fargo Public Library news and events for the week of Oct. 19
The West Fargo Public Library is collecting donations of new socks to benefit the Golden Drive Homeless Kids organization. Donations can be dropped in the box near the library service desk through the month of October.
Wednesday, Oct. 19
10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Ready to Read Storytime
On Wednesdays, kids ages 3 to 5 are invited to read, play and create at the West Fargo Library during Ready to Read Storytime. Each week, children and caregivers practice important early literacy skills through reading stories, doing movement activities, making art, singing, rhyming and playing together.
1 – 2 p.m. | Novel Afternoons Book Club
The Novel Afternoons Book Club meets the third Wednesday of every month at the West Fargo Public Library. Learn more about this group at westfargolibrary.org/bookclubs.
Thursday, Oct. 20
2:30 – 3:30 p.m., Halloween Cupcake Wars for Teens
6 – 7 p.m., Books & Brews Community Book Club at West Fargo Library
The Books & Brews Community Book Club usually meets the fourth Thursday of every month. In October, the crew is meeting a week early at the West Fargo Public Library to allow participants to attend the One Book, One Community Louise Erdrich Author Talk on Thursday, October 27 at Concordia.
