“Genetic Genealogy” by Mike Engle was the topic of the Baxter County Historical & Genealogical Society on Tuesday, October 24 at the Donald W. Reynolds Library. There was a short presentation explaining Genetic Genealogy and how it is helpful to family tree research. Mike will explain the number of different DNA tests available and help determine which would be most helpful for the individual. For those who have already taken a DNA test, he will have helpful tools to share to further their research.
Mike Engle is from Mountain View, Arkansas and has been doing Genetic Genealogy and Genealogical Research since 2011. He has spoken all over the State of Arkansas about how to research family history and how to combine Genetics with traditional genealogy research.
